Sarah is a North Carolina native, growing up in South Raleigh, before moving east to Greenville for school. She studied interior design while at ECU where she came 2nd in a national design competition and was awarded the Outstanding Senior of her graduating class.
Sarah joined Davis Kane in May of 2004 as an intern and worked each summer while in school. As a student she made weekly site visits for the ECU Old Cafeteria Building project and wrote field reports. After graduation she worked in the kitchen and bath industry designing and selling cabinets, countertops and hardware. She returned to Davis Kane full-time in January of 2009. She has currently been working on the SAS Institute Office Building and Executive Briefing Center project and the EMS/Fire Vehicle Facility in Cherry Point, NC as well as other university projects.
Sarah also enjoys other creative activities such as sewing clothing, knitting and quilting, as well as running, going to the movies, and enjoying North Carolina’s Crystal Coast.
